Beyond Imagination gives an international perspective on Dutch art today by a selection of 20 artists, Dutch nationals as well as those born elsewhere, all of whom are active today in the Netherlands. The authors Mark von Schlegell and Moosje Goosen exploit the scope of the science fiction genre, and take an allegorical look at present-day reality by making giant leaps through time. Both authors provide an expressive picture of the hybridization of time and space – themes that the artists in Beyond Imagination also tackle in their work. This innovative catalogue, which is published in the shape of a leporello, is designed by Brussels based Lithuanian designer Goda Budvytyte. "Beyond Imagination", the first temporary exhibition at the new Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, is a tribute to the art that is made in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.El llibre Beyond imagination de pertany a la matèria
