Francesca Woodman´s notebook

Francesca Woodman (1958-1981) has come to be recognized as one of the important photographers of her generation. Her work is well-known through exhibitions and publications. Her notebooks, however, have never been published and are rarely seen because of their great fragility. This volume, the first to be published, reveals an important addition to her well-known photographs. The book is simple and complex, original and personal, disarmingly and subtly constructed. It gives us an insight into how she interpreted her own pictures. This is a facsimile packed in a box.
