Giorgio de Chirico. Myth and Mystery

After having hosted from January to April 2013 an exhibition on Giorgio Morandi that was very well welcomed by the public, the Estorick Collection of modern Italian art offers British audiences a splendid opportunity to explore the enigmatic world of Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978) through rarely-seen sculptures reflecting the artist´s fascination with classical myth and legend. The catalogue published to accompany this event will feature the sculptures on show, as well as a a selection of drawings on related themes by the father of pittura metafisica.
