Adrian Pacci

Adrian Paci’s work is strongly informed both by his own experiences and by social and political occurrences in his native Albania. It integrates social reality into visions of everyday reality in which, according to museum directors Paulette Gagnon and Marta Gili, “fragments of life come up against universality, always on a rigorous and equal footing.” Published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition co-produced by the Jeu de Paume, Paris, and the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, this engaging catalogue presents a comprehensive look at Paci’s oeuvre, an interview with the artist, and critical texts by Edna Moshenson, Edi Muka, and others.
