De pierre en verre Marc Chagall en mosaique

This catalogue was published to coincide with the exhibition ´De verre et de pierre: Chagall en mosaïque´ at the Musée national Marc Chagall in Nice from 24 May to 22 September 2025. Between 1958 and his death, Chagall designed 14 mosaic projects that adorned the walls of institutions and private homes in France, Switzerland, Israel and the United States. This retrospective retraces their history and the work of the ceramists. Texts by specialists are accompanied by reproductions of the works in situ and details compared with the artist´s sketches.
