Retrospective exhibition is not only a review of one of the most unique artistic manifestations of the 1960s, but also contributes to the reflection on contemporary artistic practice in Mexico. The exhibition has a selection by twelve artists of original works, photographs and documents from important public and private collections in Europe, USA and Mexico, by artists such as Luciano Fabro, Jannis Kounellis, Gilberto Zorio, Alighiero Boetti, Giovanni Anselmo, Giulio Paolini, Mario Merz Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Marisa Merz, Lucía and Pier Paolo Calzolari Patella. Consequent to the artistic revolutions that spread across the world in the mid-sixties, a group of artists from northern Italy showed an archetype whose brand building continues today vigorously. Interested in the intersection of art, life, culture and nature, adopted a rigorous experimental works, using materials never before employed by relating an extraordinary space for exhibition, and of course, confronting the normal rules of the role of art in society.
