Fall bomb fall

1940, the Netherlands. Germany has just invaded and the life of seventeenyear- old student Karel Ruis has been ripped apart. He now yearns for the safety of the stagnant, bourgeois existence that he once hated so much. Over the course of just a few days, Karel narrowly escapes an air raid, delivers a letter to his uncle´s Jewish mistress and grows infatuated with her daughter. But the respite this passion brings is short lived, as Karel quickly becomes a witness to the two women´s desperate attempt at survival.
