Perina suspects the source of their longevity is a hard-to-find turtle; unable to resist the possibility of eternal life, he kills one and smuggles some meat back to the States. He scientifically proves his thesis, earning worldwide fame and the Nobel Prize, but he soon discovers that its miraculous property comes at a terrible price. Sobre Hanya Yanagihara
Hanya Yanagihara va néixer en 1974 a Los Angeles, Califòrnia. Després de graduar-se en el Smith College en 1995, es va mudar a Nova York per a treballar com a publicista i en 2017 es va convertir en la directora de la cèlebre revesteixi T, el suplement de moda de The New York Times. En 2015 va publicar Tan poca vida (Lumen, 2016), la novel·la amb la qual va aconseguir l´èxit internacional.
