Ant Farm

Ant Farm, a group of San-Francisco and Houston-based radical architects, was founded in 1968, influenced by Buckminster Fuller, Paolo Soleri, Archigram, and others. This exhibition catalog is an overview of their projects, including Cadillac Ranch, The House of the Century, Media Burn, and Eternal Frame. Their projects are based as much on conceptual art practices as on architecture, theatre or literature. Their narrative dimension questions the media-related nature of image down to the ends of the political and the poetic.
