This book is a history of Waldensianism. Like other groups of the period, they formed a religion community. But of all the medieval dissenters, the Poor of Lyons were alone innsurviving to the dawn of modern times. The were the swept up in the great wave of the Reformation: by adopting Protestantism in the sixteenth century.
