Modernity, Modernism, Postmodernism

The essays contained in this volume are based on the papers read at the conference wich took place at the University of SAntiago de Compostela in March 1997. Among the topics high on the agenda at the conference were: The politics of modernisms; the relationship between the woork of art and reality in modernist poetics; also that modernism and tradition, modernism and enlightenment; modernism and modernization; modernism and postmodernism, etc.
