Brunet Saunier Architecture. Monospace & Simplexity

Over the past ten years, the architectural office Brunet Saunier Architecture in Paris has been developing a hospital design concept known as ´monospace´. This concept, based on a process of creative reduction down to essentials -´simplexity´- is adaptive rather than normative, and based on determinism rather than probabilities. This book analyses 21 seminal projects in France, Belgium, Denmark, and Switzerland. The successful application of this design concept to projects ranging widely in scale will attract attention far beyond the borders of France.
