Eric Burdon, the driving force of the grittiest British Invasion band, the Animals, pioneered the San Francisco psychedelic rock scene as Eric Burdon and the Animals, frinted WAR, the biggest funk band of the seventies, and continues to tour relentlessy with new incarnations of the animals. In 1995 Eric was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
