Alex Garland´s first screenplay. In a hospital bed on a deserted ward, Jim sleeps. Outside, the world is changing. In a landscape of diseased violence, masked figures make Molotov cocktails, a father and daughter pray for rain, and an army major tries to keep his men from suicide.
