Misogyny: the male maldy

The turmoil of masculinity and the ugliness of misogyny have been dicumented in different cultures, but david Gilmore´ s synoptic approach, which identifies misogyny in a variety of human experiences outside of sex and marriage, is a fresh and enlightening contribution toward understanding this fenomenon. Gilmore provides evidence for the first time that misogyny is so eidespread and so pervasive among men everywhere that it must be at least partly pshychogenic, a result of identical experiences in the mael developmental cycle, rather than caused the environment alone.
