In Generation Existential, Ethan Kleinberg shifts the focus to the inicial reception of Heidegger´s philosophy en France by those who first encountred it. Kleinberg explains the appeal of Heidegger´s philosphy to French thinkers, as well as the ways they incosporated and expanded on it in their own work through the ineterwar, Second World War end early postwar periods.
