Todo preocupa a la vez

Una serie de dibujos protagonizados por mujeres que dan cuenta de una cierta incomodidad vital. Con limpias líneas negras sobre el fondo blanco del papel, la autora afronta el reto de contar lo máximo con lo mínimo y consigue reflejar, a través de sus personajes, inclasificables estados de ánimo entre la soledad, la melancolía, el miedo, la torpeza, la ansiedad, o la difícil comunicación. Un cúmulo de sentimientos expresados con un marcado carácter teatral, utilizando recursos del dibujo cómico tradicional para dar a la narración un aire al mismo tiempo tenebroso y humorístico.

In Everything Matters at Once, Abigail Lazkoz compiles a series of drawings populated by women who become aware of a certain discomfort in their lives. Meeting the challenge of expressing the maximum through the minimum, with clean black lines on a white paper background, the author manages, through her unclassifiable characters, to reflect states of being such as solitude, melancholy, fear, clumsiness, anxiety or hampered communication. A weight of feelings with a pronounced theatrical character, expressed through methods of traditional comic drawings giving the narrative an air of both gloom and humour.
