Sequence (1)

The catalogue, produced for the recent exhibition at Palazzo Grassi in Venice, offers the reader a selection of rare works belonging to the Françoise Pinault Collection and created for the inauguration of a new cycle of shows entitled “Sequence”. Sequence 1 will be dedicated to sixteen international artists of different ages who already have major works in the Collection. They will create new works for this Venice exhibition, all of which are inspired by the principle of artisanship - in all its traditional creative forms and wide variety of techniques - in contemporary art.
