Sobre Iris Murdoch

Iris Murdoch va néixer a Dublín en 1919. Va estudiar en la Badminton School de Bristol i posteriorment es va llicenciar en llengües clàssiques per la Universitat d´Oxford. A Cambridge va estudiar filosofia, matèria que a partir de 1948 impartiria a Oxford, on va viure la major part de la seva vida. En 1956 es va casar amb John Bayley. Va morir el 8 de febrer de 1999, després de sofrir una llarga malaltia. La seva extensa obra abasta novel·la, assaig, poesíay teatre. D´entre les vint-i-sis...
