Sobre Shirley Jackson
Shirley Jackson (San Francisco 1916 – Bennington 1965) va estudiar en la Universitat de Syracuse. En 1948 va publicar la seva primera novel·la, "The Road Through the Wall", i el conte «La loteria» (inclòs en el volum "Contes triats", que va aparèixer en aquesta col·lecció), un clàssic del segle xx.
